Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is comprised of members representing various business and industry, environmental, civic, and social organizations, human service agencies, and government bodies-including each of the eight (8) Councils of Governments' Executive Directors.

This Committee will convene approximately three (3) times throughout the planning process to receive progress updates and provide input and feedback to the planning team.

The purpose of the Steering Committee is to assist in developing a vision for the future of the County and engage the Citizens in the planning process.

Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee is comprised of Directors of the various County Departments. This Committee will convene throughout the planning process to receive progress updates and provide input and feedback to the planning team.

The purpose of the Advisory Committee is to provide input from Allegheny County’s various departments and assist in developing a vision for the future of the County and engage the Citizens in the planning process.
