goal is to integrate stakeholders into the planning process and
work toward a collective vision for the future of Allegheny County.

A public participation process has been started to maximize communication and interaction; the work product will be refined through an iterative process.
A series of committees and resource panels will help with the development of the Plan. Each committee will be comprised of individuals representing diverse views.
With this process in place, Allegheny Places will be continually updated and refined. As a living document, the Plan will be a current and relevant tool to optimize planning in Allegheny County.
